Job Description
As a Senior Operational Risk Officer, your responsibilities are :
- Implement a comprehensive risk management framework that addresses transversal operational risks.
- Perform analisis, and monitor all operational risks faced by the private banking sector.
- Ensure that all risk limits, policies, and guidelines are adhered to and are compatible with the private banking activities.
- Provide expert advice to the business on risk management issues, offering a clear and accurate risk assessment of the bank.
- Monitor and control risks according to the company's risk appetite and limits.
- Collaborate with other departments to foster a strong risk-aware culture.
- Prepare risk reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated with the industry's latest risk-related issues, including the latest DORA regulation.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Operational Risk Officer should have:
- A degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A solid grasp of financial risk management and in EU and Luxembourg Regulation.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in risk in banking or service provider or Big4 environment.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and products.
- Effective communication skills to relay complex information.
- Proficiency in risk management software.
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
